With the existing Sydney facilities approaching capacity Vocus has been planning the expansion for some months, today securing the lease and additional power required. The new facility to be named S3 will bring online an additional 425sqm (an increase of 53% of existing space). With preparation already begun on the design, physical work expected to be commence within 45 days. Vocus expect the 1st expansion facility to be online in June 2012. In addition to the 425sqm the company has also secured an option over another 1000 sqm of space. Along with this option Vocus has secured yet another significant power upgrade.
