Objective Corporation Signs $10million Welsh Government Contract

Objective Corporation (OCL) today announced it has signed a major software and services contract with the Welsh Assembly Government. The contract will deliver an enterprise-wide solution that will position them at the forefront of Public Sector best practice information management. The contract is expected to have a value of approximately A$10m (£4.6m) to Objective over a five year period and is being undertaken in partnership with Siemens IT Solutions and Services, the Assembly’s prime contractor.

Tony Walls, CEO, Objective Corporation said: “This is a significant achievement for Objective in the United Kingdom (UK) and it demonstrates that our commitment to the Public Sector and to long-term direct customer relationships continues to be valued in the market. “It is a privilege to be trusted by the Welsh Assembly Government to deliver a programme of this significance and scale.” Dr. Tony Jewell, Chief Medical Officer, Welsh Assembly Government and the Senior Responsible Officer for the programme said: “The primary focus for us is to introduce a solution that will ensure we are wholly compliant with information management legislation both now, and in the future.

Objective’s solution will be rolled out to 6,500 users at multiple sites Objective Corporation across Wales. It will provide the Welsh Assembly Government with Objective Corporation’s robust and effective information management infrastructure. It develops, markets, tailors and supports its own Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software. Objective worked extensively with the Welsh Assembly Government to conduct several projects prior to entering into this agreement. The success of these projects influenced the government’s decision to implement the solution enterprise-wide.

Objective Corporation Secures Contract With UK Central Ofiice of Information

Recently acquired by Objective Corporation (OCL), Limehouse Software has signed a strategic four year procurement agreement with the UK Central Office of Information (COI). The agreement is part of the new External Engagement and Facilitation Framework which will allow UK government departments to purchase solutions from Limehouse and other suppliers without the costly and protracted procurement processes. The selection process took six months to complete and involved the evaluation of 130 companies.

Mr Sean Larkins, COI Deputy Director of Strategic Consultancy, confirmed that they selected Limehouse for its proven consultation and stakeholder management capabilities. “In recent times we have witnessed a significant increase in demand for digital consultation and communication with the general public, employees and other key stakeholders on standard policy issues. To achieve this, we needed innovative technology partners that could provide the digital infrastructure to underpin the collaborative and social networking aspects of all interactions moving forwards,” stated Mr Larkins. Mr Tony Walls, CEO, Objective Corporation said: “Objective and Limehouse have proven experience in increasing Public Sector effectiveness and efficiency. Our partnership with the COI will help them to deliver better services to their Public Sector clients at a lower cost.”

Objective Corporation Signs Content Management Contract With Dandenong Council

Greater Dandenong City Council has selected Objective Corporation (OCL) to provide an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution to improve information management and enhance service delivery to the community. The Council undertakes a variety of functions including statutory planning and building control, local law enforcement, capital infrastructure and maintenance, various human services, valuations and governance and corporate service related functions. With such an array of services processes to manage, the Council generates, collates, shares and disseminates large volumes of information both internally and externally to the community. The organisation sought an ECM solution that would capture and centralize their information, support knowledge management and increase business process efficiency. 

“The general public is our primary concern, we strive for excellence in customer service, and continually challenge everything we do in order to improve our services,” said Mr Mick Jaensch, Director Corporate. It tailors and supports own Services, Greater  Dandenong City Council.”   

Objective will be used by 400 users’ enterprise wide as the single repository for all corporate information and as a knowledge management tool.

Objective Corporation Acquires Limehouse

Leading enterprise content management company, Objective Corporation Limited (OCL) today announced the acquisition of Limehouse Software Limited. Limehouse is a market leader in collaborative content creation, publishing and stakeholder consultation solutions in the United Kingdom and has an emerging presence in North America. 

Objective has acquired 100% of the issued capital of Limehouse for A$6.65 m (£3.18 m), with an additional performance-based earn-out of up to A$3.0 m (£1.42 m) contingent on achieving FY2010 benchmark results. Limehouse’s full year revenues to 30 June 2009 are expected to be in the range of A$6.3 m to $7.4 m (£3 to £3.5m). The acquisition is expected to be earnings per share positive and will be funded from existing cash reserves and new facilities. The acquisition extends Objective’s market share and capability in the Public Sector market, where its products help customers improve the efficiency of their operations and record keeping obligations.
