Nomad Building Solutions Secures Another $43 million Worth Of Building Contracts

Nomad Building Solutions Limited (NBS) advises that further to the announced winning of $51m of new work on 21 August 2009, its wholly owned subsidiary, Rapley Wilkinson Pty Ltd, has been awarded additional contracts valued at $43.3m, including a $27.3m contract to undertake Building Education Revolution Project (“BER”) construction works at various primary schools in the Northern Education Districts of North West Western Australia. As well as the above BER contract, other work won includes renovations and new work for State and Federal Government agencies ($9.7m) and private clients ($6.3m). All projects are located throughout the Gascoyne, Pilbara and Kimberley regions of North West Western Australia. Work will commence on a number of these projects over the next 2 months and with the BER contract programmed to continue until March 2011. Approximately 60% of the revenue from the contracts will be realised in the 2009/2010 financial year.

NBS’ Managing Director, Alan Thomas, said the winning of these projects is an excellent result for Rapley Wilkinson with the Federal Government’s Building Education Revolution award being particularly significant. “Rapley Wilkinson has undertaken  construction works for Local, State and Federal government agencies for more than 30 years.  With this experience we are confident that this BER contract will be the first of many more to come as the company assists government in this massive nation building exercise.”

Nomad Building Solutions Limited (NBS) advises that its wholly owned subsidiary, Rapley Wilkinson Pty Ltd has been awarded contracts valued at $51m, completing a very successful 3 month tendering period culminating with the awarding of the construction of the new $18m Karratha Primary school for the Western Australian State Government. In addition to the above contract, other work won includes renovations and new work for Local, State and Federal Government agencies ($13m), resource companies ($13m) and private clients ($7m). All projects are located throughout the Gascoyne, Pilbara and Kimberley regions of North West Western Australia. Work has commenced on a number of these projects and is programmed to continue until October 2010. Approximately 80% of the revenue from the contracts will be realised in the 2009/2010 financial year.

Nomad Building Solutions To Supply Kitchens For Gorgon Project

Nomad Building Solutions Limited’s (NBS) wholly owned subsidiary, Nomad Modular Building Pty Ltd has received a letter of intent to award a contract from the Thiess Decmil Kentz Joint Venture for the manufacture and supply of the central facilities buildings for the Chevron Gorgon liquefied natural gas project accommodation village.

Under the contract Nomad Modular will build 3 kitchens/dining rooms (to cater for up to 3,300 people), a communications building, administration complex, 2 wet messes and 14 other associated administrative and recreational facilities. Work will begin in July 2009 at the company’s Bibra Lake manufacturing facility in the southern Perth suburbs, and is expected to be completed by March 2011. Approximately 80% of the revenue from the contract will be received in this financial year. Installation will be the responsibility of the Joint Venture.
