MOKO.mobi Limited (MKB) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Airtel, India’s largest mobile network with over 110 million customers. The Airtel contract joins previously announced contracts with two other significant Indian mobile carriers, Reliance Mobile and Idea Cellular.

This contract, together with the Idea Cellular and Reliance Mobile deals, means that MOKO.mobi will be exposed to a combined Indian carrier base of over 250 million customers so far.

The service with Airtel will be based on a ”user-pays” subscription and premium activity business model, where MOKO.mobi is paid a share of these revenues from the mobile operator. The Airtel deployment of MOKO will follow other carrier launches in USA, Brazil, India, Malaysia and UK; and is expected to be completed by the end of 2009 with the first revenues expected to be generated in Q1 of the 2010 calendar year.

Alltel has a customer base of approximately 15 million and is a subsidiary of Verizon Wireless.
