Island Sky® Australia Limited (ISK) has announced that its unique, “air to water” making machines would soon be available in Australia, after signing a distribution agreement with the Waternauts LLP.
Under the agreement, Island Sky® Chief Executive Officer Richard Groden, said the company would ship two container-loads of its Skywater machines to Australia, in late January, under a consignment arrangement with Waternauts. “The distribution agreement with Waternauts gives Island Sky a strong, strategic partner in Australia, allowing us to introduce our SkywaterTM machines to the local market,” Mr Groden said. “With support from Waternauts, the applications for our SkywaterTM machines range from supplying drinking water to homes, offices, and factories, to producing much larger amounts of water required for infrastructure projects right across the country.” Mr Groden said the consignment shipped to Waternauts would comprise 120 of the floor- standing SkywaterTM 14 machines and 8 of the larger, commercial SkywaterTM 300 machines.
Waternauts current business is focused on water-filtration products. Its head office is in Victoria and has agencies in Tasmania, Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Kalgoorlie, Mt Isa and Emerald, servicing 80 other towns Australia-wide. A SkywaterTM 300 machine is currently on display at a site outside of Melbourne, with two other demonstrations being planned for NSW and Queensland in 2010.
