Intermoco Limited (INT), a leading provider of energy and water metering and management solutions through its Utiligy brand, is pleased to announce that the company has received a single purchase order from one of Australia’s largest field services group for a total value of $1.5 million for a range of the Utiligy suite of metering products, including: Electricity Meters, Communication Devices Accessories. This order adds to the significant orders already announced to the market on 4 June 2009 and brings the total orders to date for June to over $2 million and sets the company up to record approximately $4 million in revenue for FY09, compared with $2.5 million in FY08 in revenue from continuing operations.
Intermoco CEO, Bob Gestro commented that “this order represents the first order in a new partnering arrangement with one of our key suppliers. The two companies are currently in discussions with a view to developing a formal agreement to support the long term objectives of both organisations in achieving long term sales success. The demand for our products and solutions is growing and the opportunities for Intermoco and Utiligy are significant and sustainable. This order which represents one of the largest single orders ever received by the company is a direct result of Utiligy re-focusing on its core business of metering and together with our new partnering agreements demonstrates the strength of our product range and technical expertise.
