By bringing VVNMusic.com into the network we now have a credible and reliable U.S. base producing relevant music news content along with the established and also credible London-based Music-news.com. With VVNMusic.com and Music-news.com as part of the content family, Undercover has completed its vision of creating a global music news network,” says Undercover founder and GoConnect Ltd Executive Director Paul Cashmere.

GoConnect also owns and operates IPTV channel uctv.fm that will soon be launched on mobile devices. ASX Company News: GoConnect Traffic Increases Significantly

Monday, September 13th, 2010

Further to our report on 2 September 2010, GoConnect (GCN) is pleased to advise that its IPTV network, uctv.fm, has rapidly gained the acceptance of the IPTV consumers, and has continued to attract user support with the traffic of the first 9 days of September 2010 already exceeding the traffic for the entire month of August by substantial multiples.

Monthly unique users have grown by 5.8 folds for September month-to-date compared to the whole month of August, to over 70,000 users. Video view counts have grown by more than 6 folds to over 128,000 views. September view counts are on target to achieve over 400,000 views for the current month based on the existing trend. What is also pleasing is that a high proportion of the traffic comes from international users, demonstrating that uctv.fm programs appeal to an international audience and it is growing rapidly.

GoConnect has been developing an advertising sales strategy based on the delivery of video commercials as 15 seconds pre-roll and post-roll to the video programs distributed through the uctv.fm network. These commercials will be delivered by GoConnect’s own advertising serving technology which also enables geographical targeting.  The user traffic and volume of video views generated to-date have been most encouraging and support management’s revised view that advertising revenue is likely to be generated at an earlier time than what was envisaged previously.
