Elk Petroleum (ELK) has decided to extend the closing date of its Share Purchase Plan to 20th May, 2009 from 14th May, 2009, in view of the delay in commencement of drilling. The trading of the new shares will commence from 26th May, 2009.

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009Elk Petroleum (ELK) announced on the 27/4/2009 that they would be conducting a Share Purchase Plan to raise additional capital. The record date was 22/4/2009 on which shareholders must own the share to participate in the SPP and the closing date is 14/5/2009. Shares will be issued on 20/5/2009 and start trading soon after this. A maximum of $10,000 can be purchased by each shareholder at $0.09.
