Global education services provider Navitas Limited (NVT) is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with GE Oil and Gas Australia Pty Ltd (GE) to provide moderation and accreditation of GE delivered training courses. Managed through Navitas’ University Programs Division the GE courses will be focused on operation and maintenance staff and deliver training within the scope of a Certificate IV in Engineering at GE’s service and maintenance centre in Jandakot, Western Australia.
This initiative is the latest step taken by Navitas to help address national skills and training shortages which are impacting Australia’s productivity and efficiency said Rod Jones, CEO of Navitas. “High quality qualifications delivered through this program to employees from GE, and its key clients, will be nationally and internationally recognised.” “We are very excited to be supporting GE as they invest in their employees and help meet existing and future skills shortages,” Mr Jones said.
