US Markets Higher On 11/2/2010

The US markets closed higher after a surprise drop in jobless claims and a commitment to help Greece from the European Union.   The Dow closed  up 106 points or 1.1%  at 10,144, the  S&P500 was up 10 points or 1.0%  at 1078 and the Nasdaq was up 29 points or 1.4% at 2177.

Gold and oil were both  higher.    Gold settled up $18.90 at $1095.20/oz  and crude oil was  up $0.55  at $75.07/bbl.
