The US markets finished lower for the second day. The Dow closed down 41 points or 0.4% at 9707, the S&P500 was down 10 points or 1.0% at 1050 and the Nasdaq was down 23 points or 1.1% at 2107.
Gold and oil were both lower falling sharply. Gold settled down by $15.50 at $998.90/oz and crude oil was down sharply falling $3.08 to $65.89/bbl.
