Nomad Building Solutions Limited (NBS) advises that further to the announced winning of $51m of new work on 21 August 2009, its wholly owned subsidiary, Rapley Wilkinson Pty Ltd, has been awarded additional contracts valued at $43.3m, including a $27.3m contract to undertake Building Education Revolution Project (“BER”) construction works at various primary schools in the Northern Education Districts of North West Western Australia. As well as the above BER contract, other work won includes renovations and new work for State and Federal Government agencies ($9.7m) and private clients ($6.3m). All projects are located throughout the Gascoyne, Pilbara and Kimberley regions of North West Western Australia. Work will commence on a number of these projects over the next 2 months and with the BER contract programmed to continue until March 2011. Approximately 60% of the revenue from the contracts will be realised in the 2009/2010 financial year.

NBS’ Managing Director, Alan Thomas, said the winning of these projects is an excellent result for Rapley Wilkinson with the Federal Government’s Building Education Revolution award being particularly significant. “Rapley Wilkinson has undertaken  construction works for Local, State and Federal government agencies for more than 30 years.  With this experience we are confident that this BER contract will be the first of many more to come as the company assists government in this massive nation building exercise.”
