Global engineering and project management consultancy Coffey International Limited (“COF) today announced that it has acquired The Evaluation Partnership (TEP) for £1.1 million. This purchase will be funded from its existing acquisition debt facility. The deal will be subject to an earn out over the next 2 years of operation. The 13-person business is based in Richmond, United Kingdom, and will merge with Coffey subsidiary Coffey International Development.
TEP provides specialist policy monitoring and evaluation services to the European Commission and has worked with most of the Directorates-General over the past five years. The business carries out evaluations throughout the policy making cycle, from initial setting of agendas, to decision-making and the review of outcomes across the whole policy spectrum from trade to agriculture to health to education. Coffey International Development is a leading global international development consultancy, which implements and manages projects designed to strengthen social infrastructure, such as economic growth, law and governance, stabilization and disaster recovery, capacity building, education, health and training.
Coffey managing director Roger Olds said: “This is a strategic acquisition which provides access to the European Commission as a new client for Coffey International Development. The knowledge, experience and relationships TEP brings will be highly complementary to those already established by Coffey International Development”.
